REY
Consulting Press Release:
Oakland, NJ, June 22, 2008 – REY Consulting, INC (REY), a leading provider of reporting
solutions, today announced the availability of a free FixExchangeCodes
application.
REY is offering FixExchangeCodes to the securities clearing industry as a
means to check and correct FINRA exchange codes on the short interest
position files prior to submitting the files to FINRA. The application can
help some organizations greatly reduce the number of rejected records when
submitting short interest report files to FINRA.
The application checks the exchange codes included in the short interest
position file directly against the exchange codes published at the FINRA
website. It then creates a list of changes that are necessary and allows the
user to save the corrected file for submission to FINRA. The application
also creates a log file containing all the changes that were made to the
file.
The FixExchangeCodes can be downloaded Here and can be used free of
charge for 60 days.

REY
Consulting Provides Data Warehousing/Regulatory Reporting System
for Pax Clearing:
Ridgewood, NJ (June
25, 2002) – REY
Consulting, a leading provider of data warehousing and report distribution
systems to the brokerage and financial services industry, has licensed
WebQuery, their data warehousing and distributed reporting product, to Pax
Clearing Corporation as part of Pax’s new PEACE Clearing system.
Pax, a
full-service options and stock clearing firm, provides a variety of
securities trading-related services including options, futures and stock
clearing and execution, financing, and risk management. Their customers
include professional broker-dealers acting as specialists, market makers,
off-floor hedge funds and stock trading groups.
Pax went
live with PEACE Clearing on January 1, 2002. PEACE Clearing consists of a proprietary front-end with ShadoSuite
serving as the back-office settlement system and WebQuery providing data
archiving and report distribution capabilities. WebQuery is fully integrated with PEACE Clearing allowing clients to
view reports on-line via a web browser. Working
seamlessly with ShadoSuite, WebQuery archives daily run processes, prints
regulatory reports, and provides Pax with a full-featured system to produce
standalone reports. Pax ran WebQuery in parallel with their old clearing
system from February 2001 until going live on January 1, 2002 and the
transition to the new system was smooth and uneventful.
Working
closely with REY Consulting during the early development of WebQuery enabled
Pax to have a product that meets all their reporting and archiving needs. Acting as the central repository for their trading
information, WebQuery allows Pax to quickly publish all of its reports
electronically or by remote printer. WebQuery archives reports in a custom
data warehouse and creates an audit trail of generated reports for Pax. Using
WebQuery, reports can be printed directly to Pax printers at any of their
locations and at printers located at various customer locations.
WebQuery
offers an intuitive, web-based interface that allows business users to view
and distribute both stored reports as well as to generate ad-hoc reports.
WebQuery is easily configurable, allowing existing database systems to be
quickly transformed into web-enabled applications. Brokerage firms are using WebQuery
to meet the reporting requirements of various regulatory agencies, including
the CBOE, NYSE and NASD.
REY Consulting
provides third party data provider service to allow firms to meet the
requirements of SEC rule 17a-4. WebQuery
has been employed at various firms to replace legacy back-office systems,
resulting in significant savings to their clients by eliminating maintenance
and developments costs associated with the operation of these systems.
WebQuery is available for either direct purchase or leasing from
REY.
